I design it, spec it, and write the code.

Product leader who still designs. Hands on the work from zero to one.

I’m SVP of User Experience at Sovren Technologies and one of its first four employees. Across seven products and 15M+ users, I still write the front‑end code myself. Twelve people report to me, support included, so I hear how it lands. At CrushSuite, the Shopify apps I co‑founded, I ship the code.

SVP of User Experience at Sovren Technologies, and one of its first four employees. Twelve people report to me: three product designers, plus customer success, marketing, moderation, trust and safety, and compliance. 100+ engineers build against the direction I set, and I still write production code: I shipped Triton Cloud’s first console build.

Selected work

How I work.

  1. FindI sit with people while they use the product. On Pay that was users in their sixties, and it turned the wallet from addresses to people. Pay
  2. SpecPricing and scope come before screens. Triton’s five flat tiers were set before the first frame, and 13 flows became 10. Triton Cloud
  3. DesignFlows, components and the system under them. Eleven one‑off search bars became one component. Leadership
  4. BuildI prototype in Claude Code on our real code, and I write production code. I shipped Triton Cloud’s first console build in React and Vite, and I still ship to it. Triton Cloud
  5. ShipI own QA sign‑off. Pay’s rebuild went out in four weeks against a six‑month estimate. Pay rebuild
  6. Hear backSupport reports to me, so a design that fails comes back as a ticket. The triage queue I designed cut manual‑review email 43%+. Trust & Safety

Seven products.

What I built from a blank page, and what I set direction on.

Social

Lead design

The company’s flagship social network, with more than 15 million accounts. I designed 196 features, including every trust and safety feature: moderation, reporting and identity, on a platform where every safety decision landed in public.

Ad management

Product design lead

A self‑serve advertiser platform from a blank page: one campaign flow feeding five placements on a first‑party auction that runs in real time. I killed my own screen‑per‑level architecture once a prototype showed advertisers moving through the whole hierarchy in one sitting, and shipped one editable view instead.

Creator Studio

Designed concept, managed delivery

A content library, a publisher that takes one post to every platform, and a network tracker that pays creators for the people they bring in. Where a platform’s API returns nothing, the analytics name which platform withheld it rather than show a zero that reads like failure.

Video & Streaming

Designed concept, managed delivery

Short form, long form, live, on‑demand and 24/7 linear video across web, iOS and Android. Live and recorded video run on two different machines, and I made both end in the same player, with every format starting from one Create button.

Commerce

Managed delivery

Storefront, cart and checkout, on the same design system as Pay. Checkout invents no new payment step: it settles into the same wallet people already trust for tips and payouts.

Cloud

Design and code

Triton Cloud, rented or run on‑prem. I designed the console, its design system and the marketing site, and shipped the console’s first build: ten flows, each with its blocked and error states written in.

Fintech

Design and product lead

The non‑custodial wallet every tip, order and payout in the ecosystem settles through. The first direction put a wallet address and a gas fee on screen before a person’s name; I reversed it to lead with the person, and that version shipped, with person‑to‑person payments in USDC and USDT.
